1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Trade.Place (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What the Site provides

The Site offers general educational content, free calculators and a service that forwards buying, freight, listing and expert-help requests to independent third parties. Trade.Place is not a marketplace operator, seller, carrier, customs broker, bank, escrow agent or law firm, and is not a party to any transaction between you and any third party.

3. No professional advice

Content and tool results are estimates for planning and education only. They are not legal, tax, customs, financial or logistics advice. Duty rates, regulations and prices change frequently and vary by country. You are responsible for verifying information with qualified professionals and official sources before acting.

4. Buying requests and third parties

• You must provide accurate information and have authority to make the request.
• By submitting a request you authorise us to share it with suppliers or service providers we consider relevant.
• We screen partners where practical but do not guarantee the identity, quality, conduct, solvency or performance of any third party, product or service.
• You are solely responsible for due diligence, contracts, payments, inspections and compliance in any dealings with third parties.

5. Listings, sponsorships and contests

Listing applications may be accepted or declined at our discretion. Sponsored content is labelled. Contest participation is subject to the rules on the Contests page. Supporter contributions are voluntary and confer no ownership or guaranteed benefits.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by submitting false, fraudulent or unlawful requests; offering prohibited, counterfeit or sanctioned goods; scraping or overloading the Site; attempting unauthorised access; or infringing others' rights.

7. Intellectual property

All original text, tools, code, graphics and design on the Site are owned by Trade.Place or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions without written permission. 8. User submissions

When you submit content (for example a contest entry, video suggestion or feedback), you confirm you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use it for operating and promoting the Site, subject to any specific rules for that submission.

9. External links

The Site links to third-party websites, including official agencies and video platforms. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trade.Place will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, goods, data or business, arising from your use of the Site, its tools or any third party introduced through it.

12. Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Site and update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
